One line of code. Then a short list of fixes, every week.
You don’t need to learn analytics. Install it once, glance at what we filled in, and come back on Mondays for the few things worth doing.
Add one line to your site.
Create an account, type your site’s address, and copy the line we give you into your site’s header so it’s on every page. If your site builder lets you add code to the header of every page, it works.
The script loads in the background, so your pages don’t wait for it. As soon as it’s on, visits start showing up in your account.
<script src="https://i.visitorstory.com/vs.js"
data-site="your-site-key" async></script>
We read your site and fill in the settings.
Instead of a page of questions, we read your home page and a couple of others, like your about and contact pages, and work out what the site does, what counts as a win (a sale, an enquiry, a booking) and your time zone.
You check what we wrote and hit Save. Anything you’ve already filled in is left alone, and we never change your privacy settings for you.
Every week, the few things worth fixing.
Every Monday morning, in your time zone, we compare the past week with the one before: where people dropped out, what they clicked that didn’t work, which pages slowed down, which fields they gave up on.
Your dashboard then leads with the three that matter most, each in a plain sentence with something to try and a Show me button that plays the visit at the moment it went wrong. The full week is saved as a report with its own link.
Make a change, and see whether it paid off.
Each problem is tied to a number. After you change something, we keep measuring it. When it recovers and holds for about a week, the problem is stamped Fixed, with the date and how much better it got.
If you’ve told us what a sale is worth, problems come with a rough money figure, so you can see which fix is likely to pay most. If a fixed problem comes back, we tell you.
Your first weeks.
- 01
Day one: visits start arriving
Replays, heatmaps and the live count fill up as people visit. Have a look around: watching a handful of visits is often eye-opening on its own.
- 02
First Monday: your first check-up
The first weekly review gives you a health score, your first list of fixes and a report you can share.
- 03
Every week after: fix, check, repeat
New problems are added as your site and your visitors change, and the ones you fixed get their stamps.
