The small print, in plain words.
What counts as a session?
One visit: someone arriving on your site and looking around, across as many pages as they like. If they leave the tab alone for more than 30 minutes and come back, that’s a new session. Sessions from all your sites are added together for your account.
What happens if I go over my plan’s sessions?
We never bill you for going over. From 80% of your monthly sessions we record a shrinking sample of visits, down to 1 in 10 at 100%. Past 120% recording pauses until your next month starts. On a paid plan you can ask us to keep recording 1 in 10 visits past that point instead. Your site itself is never affected.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Paid plans are month to month with no minimum term. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the month you’ve paid for, then your account moves to Free.
How do upgrades and downgrades work?
Upgrades take effect straight away, with the higher limits from that moment. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next month. If you move to a plan that keeps history for fewer days, visits older than the new limit are deleted. If you have more sites or people than the smaller plan allows, nothing is removed, but you can’t add more until you’re under the limit.
Do you offer refunds?
We don’t refund time already used. If something on our side stopped VisitorStory working for you, or you were charged by mistake, email support@visitorstory.com within 30 days and we’ll put it right.
How do I pay?
Online payment isn’t switched on yet. Start on the free plan, and when you need more, email support@visitorstory.com and we’ll set up your plan. You won’t be charged for anything you haven’t agreed to.
Do I need a card to start?
No. Sign up with your email, add your site and paste the line. That’s it.
